About Farida
I am a Community Liaison Officer, here at A Peace Corner, my role is connecting the community, particularly vulnerable and specific population groups to services provided by professionals here at A Peace Corner.
I am qualified in the fields of Family Services, Youth, Community Mental Health and Community Education and Welfare.
My main goal is to be a voice for refugees, migrants, and my passion is to connect families and communities to the essential services, especially mental health and wellbeing.
I am eager to educate individuals about the importance of Mental health and to connect individuals to professionals here at A Peace Corner.
Working for the past 20 years in the fields of Community Services and Social Services, I consider myself as a bridge, facilitating communication, building relationships, and ensuring access to healthcare. I work with diverse community groups, advocating for their needs, and promoting health programs and services.
I have an academic level of written and spoken in more than 5 languages and dialects, which include Dari, Persian, Hazaragi, Pashtu and English, of course.
