PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Reza Sobhani is a provisional psychologist with over five years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. He holds dual master's degrees in Clinical Psychology and Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Reza supports clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment difficulties. His three-year training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy allows him to offer deeper exploratory work alongside evidence-based approaches such as ACT and CBT. For children, he uses play therapy, where toys and play become a child's language, and developmentally appropriate interventions.
Having migrated from Iran to Australia, Reza brings a firsthand understanding of cultural transition, identity, and the migrant experience. Sessions available in English and Persian (Farsi).
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Reza hosts a psychology podcast and creates educational content on mental health, relationships, parenting, and digital wellbeing. He regularly delivers workshops on parenting, family mental health, and quality of life. He is also a published poet, exploring human experience through creative writing.
